A tactical knife is designed for versatility. It will operate as both a weapon and as a tool for other needs. Because they are often used in combat situations, quality is of the utmost importance. These knives are designed for application in life or death situations.

Also, what kind of use will the knife be put through. These items will generally come with straight, serrated, or double edges. Of course, many also combine these traits.
