Titanium Knives

Titanium knives are often selected for their ability to withstand harsh elements. The material has a low-density and is strong and lustrous. It is very corrosive-resistant, even when it comes to exposure to sea water and chlorine.

A common application for these titanium knives is for diving needs. This is primarily due to the corrosive-resistant quality. Their durability is another reason, to a lesser extent.

Of course, titanium knives are not without their drawbacks. The primary concern is that they do not maintain their sharp edges. Also, they tend to be much more expensive than stainless steel options. It is possible to purchase a compromise between these qualities by selecting a stainless steel model which incorporates titanium coating.
